Scarf Pattern

Cast on 12 (or desired width)
Row 1: knit
Row 2: knit
Row 3: K1, *yo twice, K1; repeat from * to end.
Row 4: Knit across, dropping the yo loops as you go.
 
Repeat these 4 rows until desired length. Bind off.
(K1 = knit one)
(yo = yarn over)

Sewing

Today I sewed a pair of pants to save money. Instead of paying $16.50 I only payed $8-$10 for 2 1/2 yards of fabric. I can use the pattern again and they fit better than store bought pants.
